Welcome to Nutrition Services!Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ UPDATE 2/5/2021: This is an important message from Nutrition Services regarding Grab-n-Go meals: There will be no grab-n-go meal service on Tuesday, February 9th. As we transition into in-person learning, effective Wednesday, February 10th, all students on campus will be provided 1 breakfast and 1 lunch to take home. This is not eaten on campus but meant to go home with the student, in both AM and PM cohorts. For all other children not yet on campus, Nutrition Services will continue to offer 1 days worth of meals to take home from Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, students will receive 3 day’s worth of meals at our elementary schools. At our middle schools, grab-n-go meal service will transition to Wednesdays from 11am-1pm. These schools will offer 7-day’s worth of meal boxes. The Meals on the Bus will continue to provide 7-day meal boxes on Thursdays from 11:15am-1pm. Long Term Independent Study students can continue to pick-up 7-day meal boxes on Tuesdays at the Nutrition Services Building located at 600 N. Cherry St from 11am-1pm. Children do not need to be present to receive grab-n-go meals. The student’s first and last name and school of residence, if any, will be needed to provide meals. As a reminder, for the safety of staff, students and the community, please open your trunks for meals to be placed into. If walking up, please wear facial coverings and social distance. Tulare City School District is excited to announce that we can serve meals to ALL children aged 1-18! Effective immediately. Children do not need to be present. All the same locations and times apply as before. Please provide your child's name and school of residence (if any).
